The founder of the firm, Attorney Hwang, attended The University of Connecticut’s Joint Degree program on a Full Scholarship, obtaining both Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration.

He is admitted in the State of Connecticut Superior Court, District of Connecticut, Southern District of New York, Eastern District of New York and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.

Attorney Hwang has been active in bar associations. He is a member of American Immigration Lawyers Association and is one of its referral attorneys. He was President of the New Haven County Bar Association and Treasurer of the Connecticut Bar Association.

He is also active with various charitable organizations. He is a James W. Cooper Fellow of the Connecticut Bar Foundation and a member of its Fellows Education and Program Committee. He is a former president of The Foundation of the New Haven County Bar and is currently on the Board for New Haven Legal Assistance Association.
