The Startup Stock Exchange provides a regulated marketplace for startups and small businesses to sell ownership shares directly to qualified global investors.
The listed shares trade freely on a government regulated securities exchange (DCSX) providing investors a liquid market where they can invest at any level of ownership and any stage of growth. The startups raise money at a significantly lower cost of capital, with less paperwork and in a shorter period of time than current money raising methods.
SSX accepts applications from companies worldwide in any business sector that wishes to raise funds. The company then proceeds through a six step application and due diligence process with an approximately 3% listing approval rate. The approved companies then sell a percentage of their ownership shares to public investors through SSX. Investors participate in a liquid market and as owners in the company share in its successes.
SSX is a member of the Dutch Caribbean Securities Exchange in Curacao, Kingdom of the Netherlands. DCSX is the government regulated and supervised Exchange on which all SSX companies and investors trade. SSX launched on June 10, 2013
SSX Investor Clients can fund their SSX Trading Accounts using Bitcoins and then invest in the publicly traded companies on the Startup Stock Exchange.
