Alexander Tovborg is a Danish artist living and working in Copenhagen. Tovborg has had exhibitions at Brand New Gallery, Milan; Nicolai Wallner, Copenhagen; and, most recently, Nicelle Beauchene, New York. In addition to numerous solo and group exhibitions, Tovborg has had an institution show at the Overgaden in Copenhagen, where he exhibited a series of large paintings of dinosaurs. Known for taking on difficult themes, such as religion and spirituality, Tovborg’s exploration of the myth and mystery surrounding dinosaurs is both humorous and serious.
